Christian Louboutin’s take on Marie Antoinette

i bet that you’d all have heard by now that our little island of Singapore (finally) has its own Christian Louboutin standalone store, but i bet these darlings won’t be stocked there ever.

the shoe master has come up with yet another fabulous collection of designs, and inspired by none other than French ex-queen, Marie Antoinette.

The Marie Antoinette Collection made its debut in USA 2 weeks ago at South Coast Plaza in Orange County, and are going for $6,295 USD a pop including taxes. not that i’ll be willing to fork out that amount for these flamboyant shoes at the moment, but if i’m rolling in money, i’d definitely think about it! with heels that height, i’d probably break my ankle trying to walk in them, but the bright colours are just simply too eye-catching. they’ve definitely earned themselves their own special place displayed nicely in a temperature-controlled glass cabinet.

but till that day arrives, i’ll just have to be contented with ogling at these on my computer screen.
